Craze, Palmer Reed synergize on drum ’n’ bass-driven single, ‘Stuck On You’

Three-time DMC World Championship victor Craze and chart-topping singer-songwriter Palmer Reed’s first-ever collaboration “Stuck On You” takes an accessible approach to drum ’n’ bass. Reed’s R&B-style verses sit in smooth suspension atop skittering breakbeats with a clear but unimposing personality. As mellifluous as drum ’n’ bass can get, “Stuck On You” brings a breezy, summer-like essence to Craze’s label, Slow Roast Records, co-founded by Kill The Noise.

Craze calls the single—his first of 2022—one of his “favorite tunes [he’s] ever made.” The “proper combination of R&B and drum ’n’ bass for clubs and radio” evinces the magic inherent in Reed’s songwriting and his drum ’n’ bass proclivities, he attests.

The kinetic effort, which tacks on to Craze’s sprawling list of accomplishments, including touring with Kanye West as his stage DJ during his 2008 Glow In The Dark Tour and the release of a MasterClass video for Serato, “I Got The Juice,” can be streamed in full below.
