ILLENIUM announces sophomore edition of Cancùn-held destination festival, Ember Shores

After Ember Shores had teased a follow-up edition immediately after its 2021 debut, ILLENIUM has now confirmed that it’ll officially return in 2022. For the second year in a row, Ember Shores will be partnering with Disco Donnie Presents as well as Feyline and Festication to host another all-inclusive experience at both Cancún’s Paradisus Resort and Fiesta Americana Condesa resort from December 2 – 4.

The inaugural Ember Shores this past December was the cherry on top of a banner year for Dancing Astronaut‘s 2021 Artist of the Year, ILLENIUM. The Grammynominated producer played a whopping seven sets for ILLENIALS over the three-day weekend that he described as “one of my favorite events ever,” also including four surprise performances. Among ILLENIUM’s seven appearances was a drum ‘n’ bass-only set, house set, a B4B with Blanke, Wooli, and William Black, and a secret, all-unreleased set that happened during festival after hours. All of this went along with a top-of-the-line cast in 2021 that featured the likes of Big Gigantic, Nurko, Said The Sky, HALIENE, Jason Ross, and more over the course of the massive weekend. And while there’s no confirmation on a lineup just yet outside of ILLENIUM—who will be playing three times in December—Ember Shores teased that it will feature “some of the scene’s top artists” as well as “constant collaborators.”

For previous attendees, there will be a loyalty pre-sale that begins on April 18 at 10AM PT. General pre-sale will begin April 19 at 10AM PT and tickets will go on sale to the general public on April 19 at 11AM PT. Sign up for general pre-sale is currently available here.
