KAYTRANADA, The Weeknd partner for thumping ‘Out of Time’ remix

Two of Canada’s biggest names in dance music have linked for a special project. On April 22, the Grammy Award-winning pair—KAYTRANADA and The Weeknd—released a bundle of works consisting of several versions of “Out of Time,” from The Weeknd’s 2022 LP, Dawn FM. The Weeknd’s bright falsettos barely push past his natural limit over a pulsing kick drum, rhythmic claps, and moving melodies on the newly reworked tune. Altogether, the dynamic collection includes a condensed radio-edit of the club-ready Kaytranada remix; the original and an instrumental version of the original; and, of course, the thumping new remix.
