After a March stint on Tritonal‘s Enhanced Recordings/Enhanced Music for “Safe & Sound” with the label founders and Lizzy Land, Last Heroes‘ capes are flying once again on Ophelia Records. A melodically charged cacophony of supersaw chords and arching beats, Brian Helander and Garrett Lucero’s latest positions them alongside Ophelia newcomer, Man Cub. Credited as one of the “most highly requested acts to work with the label over the past few years,” the New Mexico-grounded producer debuts on Dancing Astronaut‘s 2021 Label of the Year with “Start It Over.”

A KC-supplied topline is the synchronous cherry atop “Start It Over,” which marks Last Heroes’ first Ophelia homecoming since August 2021’s Threads. The three-piece EP was Last Heroes’ third to be released via Seven Lions’ label and premiered via Dancing Astronaut.
