‘Loner’ has landed—stream Alison Wonderland’s third studio album

Nearly two years in the making, Alison Wonderland‘s third studio album, Loner, has descended upon digital streaming platforms. Out now via Astralwerks Records, the LP spans 12 songs, all of which were produced by Wonderland herself and feature her own vocals. The project was led by “Bad Things,” released in September 2020; the final single of the Loner rollout, “Something Real,” landed in early May.

When it comes to producing records, Alison Wonderland has cultivated a reputation for instilling emotion and symbolism in her lyrics. And for her, “Loner felt like a rebirth.”

“I owe it to whoever else is out there who was like me, wishing that they had an album like this to empower them to feel less alone and know that it’s all going to be okay one day,” Wonderland stated. Loner, however, is much more than a collection of singles; it’s about a artist’s journey through ups and downs, discovering love, and inspiring others through hope and perseverance.

“This time, something shifted in me, and I decided that I didn’t want to be the victim anymore. Instead, whatever I wrote from here would empower me, and help me find strength in this loneliness,” Wonderland added, delineating the change in mindset from which Loner derives.

In its cello-led breakdowns, explosive synths, swinging trap sounds, and raw emotion, Loner is an electronic album like no other and reminds listeners to look ahead to a better tomorrow. Stream Loner below.
