“Love You Back” didn’t just end with its April 27 release. The day after, Madeon announced that a website had been created where he’d been sharing a new “surprise” related to his first single in nearly two years and one of Dancing Astronaut‘s most-anticipated IDs of the year. More than a week of gifts later and Madeon’s website now seems to be complete, giving everyone an opportunity to dig through extra material around “Love You Back.”

Madeon went above and beyond what artists typically do for a one-off release, including an advent calendar of daily gifts like a Lo-Fi edit of “Love You Back,” the acapella, the complete lyric sheet, work-in-progress versions of the artwork, a high-quality versions of his mashup with “Beings” that he used on the Good Faith Live tour in 2019, several early demos, a visualizer, an alternative verse, and more.
