Montell2099, Juelz return to Sable Valley with ‘Tested’
Longtime friends in the trap music community, Montell2099 and Juelz have returned to RL Grime‘s Sable Valley record label with “Tested.” Although both trap tastemakers have become mainstays on the Sable Valley label, “Tested” marks the first single on which Montell2099 and Juelz have worked together. “Tested” is Montell2099’s second single of 2022, following February’s “Broken” with Netsky; it is Juelz’s third one-off of the year, succeeding March’s “Ur Body” with Hex Cougar.
“Tested” is a heavy trap single featuring booming bass with futuristic synths. While the track doesn’t boast any lyrics, their absence isn’t missed amid lead ups that carry emphatic energy in between the hard-hitting tune’s breaks. “Tested” will be a sight to see for the 2022 festival circuit and can be streamed below.
