Noisia deliver final LP amid farewell tour—stream ‘Closer’

Nik Roos, Martijn van Sonderen, and Thijs de Vlieger have reached their final chapter as the globally renown electronic trio Noisia. Soon after announcing its release date, Noisia’s third and final album, Closer, has landed. Spanning a total of 20 tracks, the terminal LP’s release date had originally been scheduled for sometime in 2020. However, in the wake of COVID-19, the Dutch supergroup decided to delay the “end of Noisia” until they could offer fans a proper goodbye.

Closer arrives with 11 new additions to the Noisia catalog, while the remaining 9 songs landed as singles prior to the album. In addition to previously heard joint works, such as “Foundations” with Mefjus and “Supersonic” with Skrillex, josh pan, and Dylan Brady, Closer offers a handful of new collaborations, adding artists Camo & Krooked, IMANU, Halogenix, Posij, and Black Sun Empire to the mix.

Although Noisia confirmed an impending batch of remixes, Closer marks the end of the outfit’s original repertoire. Limited tickets are still available for a handful of final tour dates, as shown on the band’s official website. Noisia’s last-ever performance will take place on August 20 at Lowlands Festival in the Netherlands. Tickets to that event have sold out.
