Tiësto and Ava Max’s November 2021 single, “The Motto,” has received an intensive revision from Los Angeles (LA)-anchored producer 5GODZ, and it just might be familiar to Electric Daisy Carnival 2022 attendees. 5GODZ’s walloping take on “The Business” follow-up elicited chaos during the up-and-comer’s set at the May festival, and considering its trappings, such a reaction was more than warranted. Outfitted with subwoofer-positioned bass and an elastic hard-trap sound that recalls the mid-2010’s with contemporary twists, 5GODZ’s unofficial remix is audible in his sets around the LA area, where the emergent talent has continued to make a name for himself in the time that’s followed his final moments on stage at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
