ARTY delivers progressive ID with Annie Schindel from EDC Las Vegas, ‘Where Have You Been’
At the very onset of Audien‘s EDC Las Vegas appearance came an ID, and anyone that had been following ARTY for any amount of time could’ve been able to immediately pinpoint him as its developer. And those same people that had been holding on for “Where Have You Been” in the weeks that followed EDC no longer have to do so, with ARTY giving the ID a relatively quick release turnaround and delivering it with Annie Schindel exactly a month later on Armada.
“Where Have You Been” completes a release trifecta for ARTY in the first half of this year—following “Who Do You Love” and “So Good To Me“—and it fit right in during Audien’s progressive house-soaked set at EDC. Almost coming as an indirect successor to his Avicii-dedicated 2018 original “TIM,” “Where Have You Been” is a front-row seat to ARTY doing just what he does best, lining up Schindel’s rapt lyricism with a plate of triumphant, nostalgia-induced production to reaffirm the “progressive house never died” tagline once more.
