Cheyenne Giles flips MARTEN HØRGER, Neon Steve’s ‘Hip Hop,’ previews new single with The Chainsmokers

It’s about to be the summer of Cheyenne Giles once more after taking the first half of the year to work on a batch of IDs to deploy this festival season. And the Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch in 2021 is back on his remix game—following his Armada-backed original “Games” from mid-April—to flip MARTEN HØRGER and Neon Steve’s “Hip Hop,” which is a reimagining of Dead Prez’s 2000 single of the same name.

For the uninformed, Giles is no stranger to injecting countless time-tested tracks with his staple bigroom bounce sound, and he’s doing so again to supply DJs with more weapons this summer. Refreshing HØRGER and Neon Steve’s bass house original with his own high-octane house spirit, Giles gives Dead Prez’s fittingly named hip-hop classic an even more modern update. And that’s just to hold us over in the meantime, with Giles recently teasing that an impending collaboration alongside The Chainsmokers is now in the release pipeline.
