Two weeks removed from the delivery of his debut album, Le Youth decided to fittingly celebrate Reminders with a destination set alongside This Never Happened. With his coinciding album live run coming to a close just days after the release date and his next chance to play out Reminders to an in-person audience—a supporting slot for Lane 8’s Forest Hills show in New York—approaching quickly, Le Youth took to Ross Lake Park in California for an hour-long stream.

Standing atop a hill as the Californian sun made its way down behind him, Le Youth expectedly soundtracked the lakeside stream with a handful of Reminders cuts—including “Feel Around You” with Leyet, “Pattern” with Sultan + Shepard and Emily Falvey, and “If Only” with OCULA and Nathan Nicholson—that will also hopefully double as tracks in Lane 8‘s incoming summer mixtape.
