More than two years later, Jason Ross finally has his 1000 Faces successor set in motion. And its name couldn’t be more fitting, with Ross broadcasting that ATLAS—which stems not only from his 2014 original but also his string of quarantine livestreams—is officially due via Ophelia Records on August 5 and pairing the news with its second single, “Take You Home” with MitiS and Dia Frampton, who reunites with Jason Ross for a third time.

Not even a week after his circuitGROUNDS finale, Jason Ross piled onto the rush of new music that he brought to Las Vegas—which had already included the forenamed HOLT-backed original as well as “Burning Sky” with HALIENE and “Ghost Town”—by tapping into even more unacquainted work in downtown Tampa. “Take You Home” quietly made its way to Twitter after its Sunset Music Festival reveal and there was an instant unanimity that a powerhouse convergence of three recurring names on Dancing Astronaut‘s defending label of the year was going to surpass all expectations. Considering how “Take You Home” sounded in live form, its lossless state brings that level of perfection out in full, effortlessly chaining two characteristic melodic bass styles from Jason Ross and MitiS with Frampton’s consistently unrivaled vocal work.
