Above & Beyond present sprawling new ‘Anjunabeats Volume 16’ compilation
Featuring Above & Beyond’s new single, “Projection,” Anjunabeats‘ 16th compilation album has landed. Comprising an exclusive music collection from more than 30 artists, Anjunabeats Volume 16 boasts two discs, containing 33 trance-inducing selections, all fashioned into one cohesive mix by Above & Beyond‘s Tony McGuinness, Paavo Siljamäki, and Jono Grant. The label heads articulated,
“More so than recent editions, both CDs feel like self-contained journeys, with CD1 perhaps best for an afternoon session and CD2 for the nightclub.”
The seamlessly-integrated new project highlights producer veterans and newcomers alike, showcasing Anjunabeats inductees from both ends of the spectrum. Notable tastemakers Conjure One and Sinéad O’Connor, Fred Falke, and Kasablanca all cement their first outings on the label; to the same effect, burgeoning talents ANUQRAM, anamē, and Simon Gregory also engrave their names into Anjunabeats’ immortal repertoire.
