Meet more of the EX MEDIAS collective on ‘EX MEDIAS, Vol. II’
In mid-February, Able Grey gave sound to EX MEDIAS’ first compilation, WE ARE EX MEDIAS, Vol. I. The collective’s debut collection of sounds now finds a companion in its second volume which, true to EX MEDIAS’ aim of illuminating underexposed artists and genres, kinetically captures a range of sounds in an airtight quintet.
“This is the second compilation release from EX MEDIAS. Mimicking our first compilation, we have again curated a diverse selection of genres and artists. While we are a Chicago-based collective, we do not limit our artists to any one part of the world,” said EX MEDIAS founder, Able Grey. “I could not be prouder than I am of all the talented artists and friends that have joined me on this vision.”
EX MEDIAS, Vol. II features the styles of five members of the collective’s broad-spanning network, including Galena Crew, Blank Ages, #BBC, AireLoosh, and TURBO. For some of the richest soundscapes and even-keeled balance to be heard in the dance genre this year, refer to Vol. II below.
