After opening the new year of music with four remixes of his 2021 finale, “Attached 2 U,” Sparkee is doubling down on the originals, answering June 1’s “Feel Alive” with the groove-laden “Rock With Me.” With an easy-going topline from Georgia of LIINKS, “Rock With Me” falls in line as the second preview of sound from his forthcoming EP, Snack Pack, due in September. And if the warm, soulful interplay of disco and pop on this pre-Snack Pack outing indicates anything about the project soon to come, it’s that Sparkee’s ability to kinetically orchestrate the two genre’s collision remains ever refined.
