Wavedash, James Ivy feed the funk on Chicago Loop’

In July of 2019, Wavedash and longtime friend James Ivy flew out to Chicago for Lollapalooza. Although Ivy initially described Chicago as the “biggest let-down of a weekend ever,” all hope was not lost; from the artists’ hotel room, “Chicago Loop” was born. Now, nearly three years later, it’s officially seeing the light of day.
Showcasing Wavedash and Ivy’s versatility and explorative attitudes, “Chicago Loop” is their first official collaboration and surfaces heavy indie and pop inspiration that turns a weekend in Chicago into an adventurous dance/electronic single. Stream “Chicago Loop” below.
