Cloonee disperses ‘MOFO’ as first solo single on his own Hellbent Records
One of the latest artists to embark on his own record label has been Cloonee. At the end of March, the Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch in 2022 launched his own Hellbent Records with a collaborative single “Tripasia” with Brisotti. Five months later, Cloonee has now shared his first solo outing on the newly minted imprint with “MOFO,” which is his first work since dropping “Nightmares” with Chris Lake back in May.
Cloonee has made quite a name for himself this year, with the rising name appearing on several A-list festivals lineups across the United States and Europe. From regular Elrow appearances to back-to-backs in Ibiza with Chris Lake and Fisher to back-to-backs in Los Angeles with Chris Lake and Chris Lorenzo, Cloonee is showing that his unique style is the next wave of tech-house. Having reamined an ID in Cloonee’s sets since May, “MOFO” invites quick punches over a catchy bassline that comes together as another dark and deep tech-house hit. With support from Diplo, MK, Fisher, and many more, “MOFO” will now be heard in even more ehouse sets across the globe.
