Good Morning Mix: Fred again.. makes Boiler Room debut with ID-loaded set in London

Saying that the decision to name Fred again.. as one of Dancing Astronaut‘s Artists to Watch in 2022 seems to be paying off thus far in the year would be a serious understatement. Fred again.. has undeniably ascended towards being a household name in dance music—even more so after his two Mojave Tent sets at Coachella—and he’s now continuing to pile onto his growing solo resume. To pair with the arrival of his biggest release to date—”Turn On the Lights again..” with Swedish House Mafia and Future—Fred again.. rewound back to the end of June to share the complete recording of his debut Boiler Room set in London.

One walkthrough of the set and it’s clear as to why the YouTube video is flooded with comments that tout it as one of Boiler Room’s single most iconic performances of all time. While he continues to finish up Actual Life 3, Fred again.. opens the absolutely electric 70-minute appearance with the ID he previewed in his album’s teaser post on Instagram—which he all but confirmed on Dancing Astronaut‘s TikTok to be another meeting with Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Steve Angello—before powering through a slew of his own IDs, a confirmed Skrillex ID at the 21-minute mark, a handful of potential collaborations with the OWSLA founder, and plenty more. And it wouldn’t be considered one of Boiler Room’s greatest sets without an equally as electric crowd surrounding the booth, with one attendee even accidentally stopping the music during the forenamed Skrillex ID before Fred again.. plays it off flawlessly and saves the moment.

While we wait for more updates surrounding Actual Life 3 and ahead of his fall run in the U.S., stream Fred again..’s full Boiler Room set below.
