Sparkee, Sierra set out on soulful ‘Snack Pack’ EP single, ‘Breathe’
Sparkee and Sierra script summer’s warm finale on “Breathe,” a pulsating first collaboration between the triple-threat Canadian producer-guitarist-artist and the rising vocalist-producer. From its syncopated synth hooks to its Nile Rodgers-reminiscent guitar work and Sierra-supplied topline, “Breathe” oozes soul. It’s the third slice of Snack Pack sound to predate the EP, set to arrive later this month. Of the follow-up to “Rock With Me” with Georgia of LIINKS, released in July, Sierra said, “Having been a fan of Sparkee’s past releases, the opportunity to collaborate was an easy yes! When I heard the instrumental, I instantly knew it was the one and the song practically wrote itself.” From the sheer fluidity of “Breathe” alone, it shows.
