Emergent artist collective Worlds Apart crafts compelling melodic dubstep single, ‘Take Me Away’
Fans of Seven Lions, Crystal Skies, Nurko, Trivecta, and ILLENIUM will want to turn their ears to Worlds Apart’s latest melodically facing production, “Take Me Away.” The artist collective has merged its mixing, mastering, production, lyrical, videography, and visual art skills since it debuted in March 2021 with “Cybernetix” alongside Thunderwolf. In the process, the dynamic creative entity has slowly but steadily risen in melodic dubstep circles, adding a sense of novelty and invention to the crowded space.
On their fifth original production of 2022, “Take Me Away,” Worlds Apart turn to featured vocalist Scarlett for a complementary topline that amplifies the single’s emotive power. A lush bed of synths, electric guitar, and piano chords intermingle with the song’s lyrical embrace of escapism, culminating in a clean, compellingly produced melodic dubstep record that underscores Worlds Apart as worthy of consideration for end-of-year- artist to watch lists.
