GRiZ releases first single from upcoming album, ‘Chasing The Golden Hour 4’

A GRiZMAS present came a little early this year.

On “Your Light,” the first single from his upcoming LP, Chasing The Golden Hour 4, GRiZ can be found in his feel-good groove, putting his main weapon—the saxophone—to work. Although GRiZ has yet to set a release date for the forthcoming album, it will directly follow part three (2020). Parts two and one were previously released in 2017 and 2015, respectively.

“I wanted to recreate the carefree good vibes you feel when it’s just about sunset on the perfect summer evening and everything is the most beautiful shimmering tint of gold,” GRiZ said. “Chasing The Golden Hour is that magical moment, it is the cool breeze against your back, it is sweet summer swagger in music form. Enjoy the chilled out vibes.”

The Golden Hour 4 announcement comes after GRiZ’s recent collaboration with several dance/electronic acts, including CloZee, Big Gigantic, TVBOO, and LSDREAM. The rest of the year will be rife with live activity for GRiZ, who’s set to headline Imagine Festival and Decadence, play a special back-to-back set with Zeds Dead at HiJinx, and host a two-day special event (Space Camp) in Hampton, Virginia.
