Juelz and capshun have long circled each other in the dance music space, but to this point the duo have never released a formal collaboration. That all changes on their latest single “Fallen.” It’s a single that perfectly embodies their two complimentary but uniquely identifiable sounds, feeling like a prime, yet rare example of a purely down-the-middle 50/50 collaborative split. What’s more, “Fallen” dabbles in trap and drum ‘n’ bass, a genre that’s experiencing a stateside surge as of late. The new record is the first from capshun’s upcoming EP that’s set to release later this year.
“Fallen” is backed by broke, a new royalty-free imprint founded by The Nations. The label’s stated goal is “royalty-free music made easy for creators, by creators.” With The Nations’ leading brand, Trap Nation, coming up on a decade of music, keep an eye out for a celebratory Trap Nation 10 year compilation to be released on broke in the near future.
In the meantime, listen to Juelz and capshun’s new single “Fallen” below.
