Good Morning Mix: Blanke takes ÆON:MODE to Red Rocks for set with Deadbeats

Just shy of a year ago, Blanke made his way over to one of the planet’s most iconic venues for his first-ever show as a Denver resident. Fast forward to the following summer and Blanke returned to Red Rocks alongside the Deadbeats team for a set under his drum ‘n’ bass concept, ÆON:MODE. And with the first headline show on his Earth to the Stars tour now complete, he’s setting the clock back to the Fourth of July weekend to share a complete recording of the near-hour Deadrocks appearance.

It’s not the first time we’ve received a complete ÆON:MODE recording, with Blanke having first tested the idea in his home country of Australia in March 2021. And the tracklist has expectedly evolved tenfold since then, opening with Dimension’s “Altar” before Blanke rolls through a handful of music from both of his ÆON EPs—three songs of which arrived just a month later on his second of two Deadbeats projects—including “Breathe,” “Another Planet,” “Aurora,” and “Need & Pleasure.” But the must-listen Blanke set doesn’t stop at just the work on his pair of EPs, with his ÆON:EDIT of Ray Volpe’s “Laserbeam,” an unreleased ID of his together with Porter Robinson and Madeon’s “Shelter,” Ekko & Sidetrack’s “Rushing Back” remix, and more all finding a spot on the tracklist. Stream the full set below and watch exclusive videos from it on the Dancing Astronaut Instagram beneath it.
