Gorgon City continue delve into the underground with ‘Sidewindah’
Fresh off an Ibiza residency at Amnesia Nightclub, Gorgon City continues to produce deep and underground-rooted tech-house singles. Teaming up with Flirta D for the vocals, “Sidewindah” serves as a follow up to June’s deep and chugging “Foggy Geezer.” Out now via both REALM records and Astralwerks, “Sidewindah” is Gorgon City’s fourth single of the year and first since “Remember” with Sonny Fodera and Danny Howard.
While Gorgon City’s rise to fame can be largely attributed to their vocal-heavy deep house songs, “Sidewindah” is now the third release in a row to be influenced from their time in Ibiza. With stronger drum-kicks, and plenty of distorted vocals and synths, “Sidewindah” is primed for the underground club scene. A rolling bassline provides the framework for an essential weapon in Gorgon City’s late-night sets. Stream “Sidewindah” below.
