GRiZ adds fourth installment to ‘Chasing The Golden Hour,’ LP series
Future-funk aficionado GRiZ has turned in the long-awaited follow-up project to 2020’s Chasing The Golden Hour, Pt. 3. Last month, the Michigan producer offered the LP’s first single, “Your Light,” still without specifying his ninth studio album’s official release date. Now, it appears GRiZMAS came early this year, as the 32-year-old sax man has delivered Chasing The Golden Hour, Pt. 4, in full, just 16 days after imparting the record’s lead single.
GRiZ recounts his latest album as, “super groovy [with] a bit more energy, like electro soul minus the edgy bass stuff.” All-in-all, that proves to be an apt description of the nine-track project, encapsulating the highlights of GRiZ’s unmistakable sound across the LP’s tightly packaged runtime.
