Alison Wonderland mints FMU Records with new single by Dabow, announces debut Whyte Fang LP

No stranger to innovative undertakings, Alison Wonderland has officially launched her new record label, FMU Records, geared toward “[Giving] power [and] freedom back to the artist.” Wonderland first broke the news of her new imprint to Billboard on December 5, indicating FMU’s first signing would be a collaborative single, titled “I Surrender,” from Argentinian beatsmith Dabow as well as South African producer—and longtime friend—Jon Casey. Highlighting a tasteful mesh of both producers’ signature sonic elements, “I Surrender” is now streaming everywhere.

Touching on the new release, Dabow revealed in a press statement,

“‘I Surrender’ was meant to be a [collaboration] with Jon Casey from the minute it was started. [It] feels special to be part of the first release on FMU Records.”

In addition to her cutting-edge new imprint, the veteran Australian producer has also confirmed the upcoming debut album tied to her recently revamped Whyte Fang alias. The “dark electronica” LP will materialize on FMU Records come March 31, 2023, and it will feature recent Whyte Fang singles “Girl,” “333,” and “TIDES.”

FMU Records has given Alison Wonderland fans a whole lot to look forward to; in the meantime, stream the label’s debut offering, “I Surrender,” below.
