ALPHA 9’s ABGT500 opening becomes third ‘New Horizons’ single, ‘Final Frontier’
The one-month mark until New Horizons dawns is approaching but before it does, ARTY is completing the single trifecta for the looming debut project under his ALPHA 9 alias. After getting the Anjunabeats album ball rolling with both “Calling“—alongside Scorz and Tom Bailey—and “Down To Love“—featuring Dancing Astronaut Supernova Jonathan Mendelsohn—ARTY has now reached the “Final Frontier” with single number three ahead of January 13.
Many may recall that “Final Frontier” was the entrance to ALPHA 9’s ID-packed set during Above & Beyond’s milestone ABGT500 celebration at Los Angeles’ Banc of California Stadium. And it’s now being unlocked as the third of fourteen tracks that will appear on New Horizons in January, with ALPHA 9 reuniting with Mendelsohn—who appears uncredited this time around—for a near five-minute, effortless mingling of progressive and trance production blocks that further ensures Anjunabeats will begin 2023 on a high note.
