BLR racks up guestlist requests on Off The Grid debut with Robbie Rise, ‘Lipstick’

“Lipstick, shaking asses, all the girls want backstage passes.” That line remained inescapable in the wake of John Summit‘s EDC Orlando set. And Summit’s newly established label Off The Grid has brought in BLR to convert the highly anticipated ID into a tech-house single, “Lipstick.” Featuring the deep, heavy vocals from Robbie Rise, the “Lipstick” vocal fittingly outlines the current state of the dance music industry where guestlist requests have come in spades through artists’ social media messages. And the next name ready to receive a plethora of those is none other than BLR.

Mostly know for his trance productions, BLR is far from a newcomer, having remixed Martin Garrix and David Guetta‘s “So Far Away” along with an abundance of deep progressive tunes on Spinnin Records and AFTR:HRS. An undeniable shakeup from his November trance-directed original “Stay,” BLR is trying his hand a new creative direction with a bass infused, lyrically memorable hit formally known as “Lipstick.” With plenty of support from John Summit, Dom Dolla, Diplo, and more, “Lipstick” is closing out Off The Grid’s year with a smack.
