Moore Kismet rounds out year with ‘UNIVERSE’ bonus cut, ‘Forte’
Moore Kismet‘s 2022 remained nothing short of monumental, but before it comes to a close, they wanted to send it off with one final single. Dancing Astronaut‘s 2020 Breakout Artist of the Year spent the calendar embarking on their first-ever headlining tour in the wake of UNIVERSE—named one of Dancing Astronaut‘s Top Dance Albums of 2022—making stops at festivals like Tomorrowland, Coachella, Ultra, and so many more. And piling onto that laundry list of accolades is “Forte,” a track Kismet explains had been sitting on their laptop for almost a year.
“Fortre” was originally planned to be one of 18 tracks on Kismet’s freshman LP, but was ultimately left off and eventually reworked into its final form. Delivered via Thrive Music, the bonus cut further showcases the sound design evolution that the 18-year-old talent has been continually developing. Built off the Monte Booker Sounds sample pack that Kismet came across while creating UNIVERSE, “Forte” demonstrates Kismet’s ability to create something beautiful out of any new influences they may come across and is a more than apt finale to an already banner year.
