Two of EDM biggest names have teamed up for the first time in their illustrious careers. The Dutch legends Nicky Romero and Afrojack have seamlessly fused both their signature styles into a larger than life anthem dubbed “Back to Where It All Started.” An absolute banger of a track from these to main stage stalwarts, the duo’s effort stands true to its namesake. Elements of big room and progressive house take center stage in this nostalgic trip back to EDM’s heyday. A boisterous build leads into a breakdown into a hard-hitting drop that feels at right at home where both Nicky and Afrojack spend most of their time — on the main stage at festivals around the world.. This is the very first time that the two have collaborated after a long history of remixing each other’s works. This time, “Back To Where We Started” was created for the opening of their “Two Is One” b2b set during ADE’s Amsterdam Music Festival, and both have played the record in several sets already around the world. It may be the first, but it certainly won’t be the last from the two veterans.
