RÜFÜS DU SOL deliver live version of ‘On My Knees’ from The Gorge
While RÜFÜS DU SOL will have to hold on a little longer to find out whether or not the Recording Academy gives them the green light to sweep the dance category, they decided to rewind back to the beginning of October to share something from their Surrender tour stop at Washington’s iconic The Gorge Amphitheatre. And that comes in the form of a live version of their Grammy-nominated album track, “On My Knees.”
Clocking in just shy of seven minutes, RÜFÜS DU SOL’s live rendition of “On My Knees” sets a new layer of emotion atop the fan-favorite Surrender cut and is also paired with a video accompaniment, giving it a 360-degree perspective of the trio performing it in person alongside the crowd cheers. Not only does it mark their first release since the LP’s late-2021 arrival, it also marks the first of its kind from the trio since their masterpiece of a live album from Joshua Tree in early 2020.
