Gem & Jam has built an airtight reputation for showcasing some of the brightest up-and-coming acts in electronic music over a decade and a half. This year’s festival lineup boasts a selection of over 40 acts, with headlining performances from The String Cheese Incident, LSDREAM, The Floozies, and Emancipator. Now approaching the festival’s 15th annual run, organizers are once again opening the floor to aspiring selectors looking for their big break.

Got what it takes to perform at Gem & Jam in 2023? We’ve partnered with the festival again this year to give one lucky beatsmith the chance to show off their best. Entrants can submit a 30-minute DJ mix and be entered to win an opening set at Gem & Jam Music Festival, taking place February 3 – 5, 2023 at the Pima County Fairgrounds in Tucson, Arizona.

The submission deadline is December 20 at 11:55pm MT. Festival organizers will collectively vote on their favorite mix, and the winner will be notified by January 5, 2023 via email. The winner will receive two (2) three-day festival tickets, two (2) VIP upgrades, a car camping pass, and a $100 travel stipend. Know someone who’s an aspiring DJ and deserves to be heard?
