UKF realizes 100 all-time releases with Dirtyphonics’ ‘Run’
Fans of Dimension, Delta Heavy, and Sub Focus will find their next favorite in Dirtyphonics’ “Run,” the 100th release via UKF. The milestone is of equal significance for the French duo and the bass music stronghold and through Dirtyphonics’ and UKF’s partnership for the 100th release, their professional relationship comes full-circle. Dirtyphonics’ 2009 single, “Vandals,” was one of the first productions ever promoted on UKF’s YouTube channel, where it currently sits at upwards of 4 million views.
“Promoting and elevating artists in bass music is something we’ve been doing for over 13 years now, so when we started working more closely with artists on releases, it became a natural evolution for UKF. I’m delighted that we are now 100 releases in,” said UKF founder Luke Hood. “It’s even more special to have an artist we promoted in some of the first month’s of the brand’s existence!”
A homecoming of sorts, “Run” is a potent but accessible drum ’n’ bass single well-suited for live deployment in the festival circuit. It’s sheer power is on full display below.
