Birthdayy Partyy celebrate five years with ‘Classic V Future’ EP
The Classic V Future EP is Birthdayy Partyy’s invitation to a genre-roving celebration commemorating five years of the artist project, which formally got off the ground at Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas 2018 following the Chicago duo’s triumph in the Corona Electric Beach Discovery Contest.
In the years that have followed, Birthdayy Partyy’s Bryan and Jon Gorecki have steadily risen among the ranks of the dance/electronic industry, surfacing not once but twice on Adventure Club’s 2022 LP, Love // Chaos, picking up a second stint at EDC Vegas while debuting at EDC Orlando and juggling returning performances at both North Coast Music Festival and their hometown’s very own Spring Awakening Music Festival. Along the way, they’ve scored support from industry fixtures such as Zeds Dead and Don Diablo while placing releases on Ultra Music, Spinnin’ Records, and Bite This!, among others. Safe to say, the past five years have been chock full of resume-expanding, profile-raising accolades for Birthdayy Partyy, who pay tribute to just how far they’ve come on a charged-up four-piece EP that serves as a formidable introduction to their sound for those unfamiliar with it and a hyphy reminder of the punch they can pack for those who’ve followed their career.
“This is the first EP from the project, celebrating five years since we launched. It’s both a reflection back on how much we’ve grown as artists and people in that time, as well as a vision of what’s to come in the future from us,” the Gorecki brothers said of the project. “We feel like we’re just getting started.”
