Young Australian producer, Bailey Lau, never envisioned that his passion for music production would
lead him to A-list collaborations. His trailblazing spirit and ambition took him from small country hometown, Sale, to working with renowned artists like Travis Scott and Future. At just 20 years old, his tireless efforts helped him debut his unique sound to the hip-hop community.

Growing up in a town with a mere 10,000 residents, Lau was surrounded by a community of country and indie music. It was his brother’s love for rap that introduced him to the world of hip-hop. A chance encounter with a Facebook video featuring someone making a beat sparked Lau’s interest, and he began exploring music production using his brother’s old laptop and a cracked version of FL Studio. As the pandemic unfolded, Lau found himself locked at home, simultaneously pursuing his high school education and chasing his dream of becoming a producer.

With limited resources and no mentor, his journey to success was far from straightforward. Nevertheless, he persevered, honing his skills and working tirelessly until producer Haan took notice. Lau’s big break came when he signed a producer agreement with Grade A Productions, known for their work with Juice Wrld and The Kid Laroi. He wasted no time proving his talent, collaborating with Travis Scott’s protégé, SoFaygo, on the acclaimed album Pink Heartz. This project not only made its way to Jimmy Kimmel Live but also secured a spot on Apple Music’s Up Next.

His music has since graced prestigious festivals such as Rolling Loud LA, Rolling Loud Toronto, and Summer Smash Festival, further solidifying his status as a sought-after producer. Lau has collaborated with a diverse array of artists, including Future, Lil Durk, MGK, Trippie Redd, NLE Choppa, Polo G, Lil Tjay, NoCap, Lil Mosey, Destroy Lonely, G Herbo, Bankrol Hayden, Stunna Gambino, and Zzz.

A standout moment in Lau’s career was his collaboration with rap icon Future in Miami. Lau and fellow producer Haan were in the studio when Future unexpectedly walked in and began recording, completing three songs on their first night together. This surreal experience is a testament to the heights Lau has reached as a producer. Lau’s remarkable ascent in the music industry speaks to his talent and tenacity. His collaborations with celebrated artists have shaped his career, and he has ambitious plans for the future. As his career continues to thrive, Lau envisions a future where artists actively seek him out for top-notch production.
