STAR SEED announce new EP with Lost In Dreams, deliver lead single with Nytrix, ‘It’s Just You’
STAR SEED and Lost In Dreams have long been connected at the hip. The experimental electro-pop duo from Cincinatti and former Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch have had already completed a release trifecta on the Insomniac-run imprint and were also billed on the first two editions of its Lost In Dreams festival in Las Vegas. And it only made sense for the two to partner on an even bigger project together, and listeners are getting just that with STAR SEED and Nytrix‘s anthemic original “It’s Just You” as the first track off of the former’s upcoming Lost In Dreams EP.
The track was fittingly debuted at the 2022 edition of Lost In Dreams festival where Nytrix joined the duo on stage for a rousing live performance. The bass ballad landed on Dancing Astronaut‘s radar as one of the most-anticipated IDs of 2023 after its exclusion from the release calendar in 2022. Featuring powerful vocals from multitalented singer/producer Nytrix over STAR SEED’s cinematic production and trademark modular sound design, “It’s Just You” makes for a promising start towards the larger release that STAR SEED have in the pipeline.
STAR SEED are fresh off their collaboration with Shadow Wanderer, and debut release on Lowly—titled “Anima“—that came complete with a mesmerizing visual they put together using the power of A.I. “It’s Just You” marks Nytrix’s second release on the label following his inclusion on their Gateway series in 2021 with his single alongside if found titled “Against Time.” Listen to STAR SEED and Nytrix’s “It’s Just You”—out now via Lost In Dreams—below.
