elrow returns to Miami Music Week with Rowlympic Games theme
With five days of non-stop parties, Factory Town has cemented itself as the place to be for Miami Music Week. On Thursday March 23, elrow will bring their famed celebrations to Hialeh, Florida’s Factory Town. Running from sunset till sunrise, the extravagant and carnival-themed event is sure to be the wildest and most eccentric show of Miami Music Week. After having a successful first run at Factory Town for Miami’s Art Basel week, elrow will bring back one of their classic themes: Rowlympic Games. Focusing on the ancient Roman Empire, “athletes and ‘barbarows’ will joyfully compete to see who will be the greatest party animal of all.”
elrow brings in one of the most hardworking lineups of the weekend with some of the hottest names in house music including Chris Lake, MK back-to-back Sonny Fodera, and Lee Foss. In addition, LP Giobbi—a 2022 Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch—and Mau P—a 2023 Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch—will perform at the eternally kaleidoscopic event. Filled with plenty of newcomers, elrow is able to tailor their lineup for any occasion.
Dancing Astronaut was able to catch up with elrow’s Music Director Victor de la Serna—where we asked him, “How did you decide what artists to book for el row Miami?”
“With elrow, we do shows all over the world, and all need to be catered to what works in a market. In this case with our line up, we are sharing Factory Town with Music On and NowHere with Paco Osuna. It means that if we were to go the same way, we would have all stages sounding very similar. We decided to take this direction to bring a variety of sounds to the event. Chris Lake is a good example but there are plenty of artists that fall in the same dilemma.”
