Fred again.., Skrillex, and Four Tet end the wait for Pangbourne House Mafia’s debut release, ‘Baby again..’

First it was Fred again..‘s Actual Life 3. Then it was Skrillex‘s double album, Quest For Fire and Don’t Get Too Close. All three albums came and went, but one thing remained missing from the tracklist of all three: “Baby again..” Given a global introduction during Dancing Astronaut‘s 2022 Artist of the Year‘s now-iconic Boiler Room set towards the end of this past summer, “Baby again..” has officially been crossed off the ID waiting list after what has felt like an eternity of waiting.

During Fred again.., Skrillex, and Four Tet‘s impromptu run of shows in New York that began on Valentine’s Day, the trio had constantly made it known that it was the first and only song to be made by all three of them, despite some previous confusion surrounding Four Tet’s involvement on “Rumble.” And it’s now the first release from Panbourne House Mafia—the three’s unofficial collective name—which will quickly remind those in attendance at Madison Square Garden to be the song that soundtracked the moment of the evening when the house lights finally cut out right as the first drop hit. “Baby again..” had been in high demand for a good reason—especially after its absence from three separate albums—with the three flipping Lil Baby’s verse from “Baby” into the ultimate four-on-the-floor weapon that’s going to be even more inescapable in the coming months as festival season consumes the calendar. No more going back to Fred again..’s “Boiler Room” set just to hear it because “Baby again..” can officially be streamed below.
