HALIENE teams up with Elephante for cathartic single ‘Hollow’
Amid Phase 2 of a widespread tour and accompanying LP, HEAVENLY, her biggest project to date, HALEINE connected with LA producer and songwriter Elephante. The celestial twosome deliver a certified track to self-discovery, “Hollow,” distributed via Black Hole Recordings.
“Hollow” arrives as an alluring, haunting melodic-bass anthem for those who wrestle with inner wars of vulnerability and apprehension towards getting too close to people. Building up the dramatic tension, the heartrending lyrics wax poetic: “Would you hold me if I was empty / Pull yourself into the hollow of my heart.” Before long, Elephante unlocks an emotive bass drop overflowing with a fusion of strum guitar and classical piano to echo HALIENE’s soaring falsetto.
