Kyle Kinch makes his presence felt with first new music of the year—stream the ‘Bandersnatch’ EP
The title of Kyle Kinch’s first new material of 2023 will inevitably catch the eyes of Lewis Carroll enthusiasts, and this Bandersnatch—much like its literary referent—is a monster of its own kind.
On the two-piece EP, Kinch’s listenership hears from the Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch in 2022 for the very first time this year in a statement made via W&O Street Tracks. No stranger to the house release ring, Kinch eases into trippy, textured grooves on the EP’s title track, setting a tone for a project that boasts appeal extending well beyond the club circuit. Cool as a cucumber, Kinch coasts into “Pure Passion” alongside REIGN for an accompanying number that has textural grit, a fluid beat, and—the icing on the cake—a blissed-out, almost aqueous topline.
