Franky Wah, Vintage Culture unite to deliver atmospheric original, ‘Alive’
It could be said that few collaborations have quite captured attention in recent times in the same fashion as “Alive.” The meeting between Franky Wah and Vintage Culture marks the second time they’ve appeared in the same title—after the latter’s “Under the Sun” remix a year earlier—but the first time that they’d properly collaborated. Originally premiered during Wah’s Anjunabeats appearance at London’s The Drumsheds at the end of 2021, “Alive” has now finally been freed after becoming what Wah described as “one of [his] most-requested IDs.”
“Alive” is a deep, brooding after-hours anthem that’s the perfect aural embodiment of both artist’s signature styles, flexing the muscles of their powerful production prowess to craft a moody floor-filler.
And it serves as the ultimate blend of both artists, with “Alive” being finally available to stream below.
