Nurko announces ‘Discovery’ EP, delivers next single with Kyle Hume, ‘Save Me (From Myself)’

Another Nurko EP is officially on the way. Since inking a deal with storied electronic label Astralwerks, the Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch alumni has opened his label residency with a pair of singles, “Eternity” with Dayce Williams and “Too Long” featuring Cruel Youth. And Nurko is now kicking his release run into high gear, formally announcing the existence of Discovery—his sophomore EP following 2022’s Arrival EP—as well as phase one of his corresponding sophomore headline tour. And to pair with the double announce—with a tour that includes stops at Exchange LA in Los Angeles, Midway in San Francisco, Concord in Chicago, and Webster Hall in New York City—Nurko has delivered a third single in the form of “Save Me (From Myself)” featuring Kyle Hume.

“Save Me (From Myself)” is “a bit toned down” as Nurko self-described it—relative to his other releases—but still features a classic soundscape from Nurko with his signature airy builds that give way to a bass drops of pure euphoria. And Nurko’s production—which he wanted to take a backseat in favor of the “memorable melody”—is perfectly matched by an edgy, emotion-soaked vocal backing from Kyle Hume for a track that completes the Discovery single trifecta. Stream “Save Me (From Myself)” below.
