R3HAB and INNA team up on dance-pop smash ‘Rock My Body’
Dutch-Moroccan powerhouse R3HAB collaborates with Romanian sensation INNA to deliver “Rock My Body,” a modern reimagining of German pop artist Sash!’s 1997 hit “Ecuador.” The original track captivated European clubs, TV, and radio audiences in the ’90s. R3HAB taps into the current ’90s nostalgia trend by incorporating the original’s uplifting beat and infusing it with his signature sounds, while INNA adds her sultry vocals. R3HAB notes that “Ecuador” was a groundbreaking record that redefined its genre. Fast forward 26 years, and the iconic melody still evokes childhood memories for R3HAB. The idea for the track’s energetic dance-pop production came to R3HAB suddenly, and he couldn’t rest until he had fully fleshed it out.
