Juelz unveils ‘Surrender’ as final single from incoming Sable Valley album

Ahead of the release of his debut album, Juelz has unleashed its last single via RL Grime‘s Sable Valley. Titled “Surrender” and powered by emotive melodies and surging drops, Juelz’s latest evokes elements of early 2000’s dance music with future bass, spinning in Juelz’s unique production style and creating a track like no other before. Full to the brim with Juelz’s signature sound, “Surrender”—which follows “THE POWER!,” “Moondance,” and “Freefall—gives yet another quality preview of the tracklist, with the track being one of the first he started working on during its process and setting the tone for Juelz’s creative workflow. Speaking on “Surrender” and its meaning, Juelz delved into its inspiration and design, saying,

“‘Surrender’ is probably the most interesting songs to me off this upcoming album. It’s kind of hard to pinpoint the emotions in this song: somehow it’s simultaneously hard hitting, uplifting and ominous, yet it has a very vulnerable undertone throughout. Its sonic elements are a balance of early 2000’s dance music and contemporary future bass. I’ve been playing this one out in my sets a ton and it never fails to disappoint; very excited to have this one out in the world.”

With the album set to arrive at the end of Juelz, the hype building up to its release will peak with his headlining performance at the Teragram Ballroom on June 30th. The full album will undeniably usher in a new era for Juelz as he has surpassed every expectation with its production and will continue to evolve in the future. Stream it below.
