RL Grime is finally back—stream ‘Pour Your Heart Out’ with 070 Shake
The trap god is back. Usually RL Grime is more pulled back when it comes to staying active across his social media. But some were quick to note that the Sable Valley boss began quietly sharing a string of Instagram stories, eventually leading to him completely wiping out his Instagram page. And as we all know at this point, that typically points to something larger on the horizon. Just over six months after his “Halloween XI: Dead Space” finale-turned-single with NERO, RL Grime didn’t leave his Instagram slate clean for too long, sharing the news that “Pour Your Heart Out” alongside 070 Shake would land just 72 hours later.
Although there’s no explicit confirmation at the time of writing, many are left to reasonably assume that the renewal of his Instagram could very well mean that his his NOVA successor is on the horizon after five years. And if that ends up being the case, “Pour Your Heart Out”—with co-production credits from Heimanu—would be a more-than-grand introduction as to what’s to come, with the trap god unsurprisingly reaffirming that well-earned title on an emotion-laced, cinematic sliver of trap perfection with the help of 070 Shake.
