ISOxo‘s debut album is coming. It allstarted with a simple message on a banner that was unveiled during the final moments of his NIGHTREALM Finale in Los Angeles. All it said was “KIDSGONEMAD! DEBUT ALBUM 2023.” Fast forward about eight months later and the album rollout for Dancing Astronaut‘s co–2022 Breakout Artist of the Year official begun—following a short tease with nothing but a voice note—with “dontstopme!”

“dontstopme!” serves as one of countless IDs that ISOxo has been sitting on. But it’s perhaps his most highly anticipated. It dates back to as early as 2021 where it was originally rinsed out by both ISOxo during his first-ever headline show in Los Angeles, followed by Skrillex a couple of weeks later at Brooklyn’s Avant Gardner. Since then, it’s been played out by the likes of RL Grime, Knock2, Moore Kismet, and FrostTop to name a few. And naturally, it’s become a staple in sets by ISOxo himself, making for the ultimate first look at what KIDSGONEMAD! has to offer.

ISOxo—along with fellow San Diego Waterboy Knock2—earned that forenamed title during Dancing Astronaut‘s end-of-year awards in no small part because of his aforementioned NIGHTREALM tour. Now with that era closed, all eyes are set towards the future of ISOxo, who is signaling the start of a new era with “dontstopme!” Not only is it the first single from his debut album, but it’s also his first release with 88rising, a label that he informally kicked off a relationship with earlier in the summer at their first-ever Head In The Clouds festival in New York.
