Swedish House Mafia to headline UNTOLD’s biggest year yet
Tucked away in Eastern Europe, amidst Transylvania’s gorgeous landscapes is Untold, Europe’s rapidly growing festival giant.
Since 2015, a university city called Cluj-Napoca has been home to one of world’s fastest growing festivals. Since then, UNTOLD’s trajectory has been nothing short of meteoric. The team behind it have worked tirelessly to establish a brand and an event that is now a serious contender on the not just the European festival circuit. But globally.
With attendance eclipsing more than 100,000 attendees, it is now the largest festival in Eastern Europe. And its profile continues to grow. With a reputation for spectacular experiences, UNTOLD is set to raise the stakes for its 9th edition. This year’s first two artists announcements are set to blow the lid off the already red hot festival – and global brand – that is also launching the first mega festival in Dubai’s history with Armin van Buuren.
From August 8th to 11th, the festival’s 9th edition will take over the Cluj-Napoca’s central park, its soccer arena, and the entire city itself as people flock from around the world to for four days of music, food, art and well over 100 artists.
UNTOLD 2024 is just warming up.
In a first for UNTOLD – and Romania – Swedish House Mafia are set to headline its iconic main stage inside Cluj-Arena. Ax, Seb and Ingrosso will be playing classics, re-edits, and countless IDs in what is sure to be one of the festival’s most high profile moments.
Not just an exclusively electronic festival, UNTOLD hosts rap, rock, and pop stars. In years past, Imagine Dragons, Troye Sivan and Bebe Rexha have performed inside the arena. This year’s pop headliner – Sam Smith – promises to draw the entire festival to the main stage.
Over the next few months the rest of the lineup will reveal local artists and global stars across UNTOLD’s 20 stages and expansive festival grounds.
