STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION reveals uplifting new single, ‘Drifters’

One of Tokyo’s most distinctive musical talents, STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION, is devoted to creating uplifting, anime-inspired songs that make his audience feel positive and adventurous. His new single, “Drifters,” offers up an electro-pop-meets-piano-rock number with energetic vocals and a bright vibe made for a drive out of town, a trip into the city, or to herald a fun time with friends.

It’s essentially an anime theme—fans of anime will know exactly what those sound like—for the weekend or next great day. In fact, “Drifters” is also the ending theme for the new season of the anime TV series SYNDUALITY Noir. “Drifters” strikes that perfect balance between calming and energetic, scoring an electric-smooth intro which drops quickly into a catchy beat, the vocals bright and encouraging. Both moods strengthen together throughout the track, making for a song that’s perfectly paced.

Anime fans have probably already heard the work of STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION on the soundtracks of shows like Beyond the Boundary, Food Wars! and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. Alongside his efforts, he’s embarked on other projects under the name, RON, where he worked on themes and character songs for Re:Zero: Starting Life in Another World and BNA.

“Drifters” is a continuation of his ongoing storyline, and demonstrates a goal of continuing to lift his work to the next level. More than that, STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION hopes this song can inspire a good mood in those who hear it. In a statement ahead of the track’s release, he shares,

“This song is perfect for times when you want to unwind, like during a leisurely drive! Maintaining a positive mindset is crucial in living each day to the fullest. It is important to always have a sense of purpose, think consciously, and act with intention as the key to living flexibly.”

Fans wanting more of STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION can find some of his best work on Spotify, where acclaimed tracks like “Daisy” and “STORYSEEKER” already have millions of listens. An artist of worldwide acclaim, STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION has upcoming live shows in the U.S. He’s appearing at Anime Expo Santiago in early February, Anime Milwaukee in mid-March, and Kawaii Kon Hawaii in late March.
