Able Grey concludes sonic self-discovery on ‘The Eternal Cycle’ EP

Able Grey is a multifaceted DJ/producer and the driving force behind Chicago’s EX MEDIAS music collective and label. His unique approach to music creation and performance blends various genres, resulting in a sound that captivates diverse audiences. Armed with an electronic drum pad and MIDI controller, Grey crafts a dynamic live experience that seamlessly integrates edits, mashups, original compositions, and remixes.
Grey’s latest project, ‘The Eternal Cycle EP,’ showcases his evolution as an artist. Teased through singles like “Beauty Fades” and “Fatal Love,” this EP is a genre-defying journey that explores life’s cyclical nature and the vastness of the universe. Born from an unexpected collaboration, the EP blends melodic bass and dubstep with raw, emotive energy, creating a deeply personal yet universally relatable experience.

“I’m constantly trying to push myself to be more and do more than I think is possible,” Grey explains. This EP embodies his philosophy, telling a story of growth and exploration beyond comfort zones. It’s a reflection on the eternal cycle we all participate in – one that transcends individual lives and continues long after we’re gone.
